The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at SUNY Korea hosted its Fall 2026 Women in ECE gathering on October 28, 2026.
During the event, students engaged in casual conversations about campus life, academic experiences, and career goals. The gathering also provided a welcoming space for students to openly discuss personal challenges and concerns they may not often have the opportunity to share.
Established in Fall 2025, Women in ECE aims at fostering an inclusive environment where female students feel welcomed, connected, and supported within the department. Through semester gatherings and guest talks featuring women in engineering, the initiative provides opportunities for students to build meaningful connections, exchange experiences, and gain valuable career insights and mentorship.
