We are thrilled to introduce you our newly joined Associate Professor Dr. Ji-Woong Lee!

Dr. Ji-Woong Lee grew up in Seoul and Daegu, but studied and worked in the U.S. for many years before coming back to Korea to teach at SUNY Korea. 

In particular, Prof. Lee received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems from U. of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and before joining SUNY Korea this summer, he worked for more than several years at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, as a graduate faculty member in the EE Department and as a research faculty member in the Applied Research Laboratory. Prof. Lee has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Florida, Gainesville.

Prof. Lee's teaching and research interest lies in the broad area of signals, systems, and control. He is excited about joining the founding team of the ECE Department and helping the SUNY K students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. He welcomes all students to feel free to stop by his office and say hello!
