Professor Ji-Woong Lee graduated from Sogang University and received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering: systems and his M.S. in mathematics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Before joining SUNY Korea in 2023, he worked for more than several years at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, as a graduate faculty member in the EE Department and as a research faculty member in the Applied Research Laboratory. He has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Professor Ji-Woong Lee loves to teach all ECE courses. His research interest, on the other hand, lies in the broad area of signals, systems, and control.
